True, the tanks did get blown up. The wrong tanks. The germans trained the dogs to find meat under the only tanks they had available; German ones. So when the time came to use them in battle, the dogs went straight for the (surprise, surprise) German tanks.
There's a reason we don't use animal bombs in combat nowadays; they were too unpredicatable, even when you did train them properly, and training them took so long, it wasn't really worth it for a single explosion.

not exactly, their 3 prong legs allows terrain to not be a problem, and they can be customized with anti armor and Missle launchers. with Super High computer accaracy it will almost never miss its target.

meaning its can also be anti tank. aswel as anti infantry.
