So after looking at GM newest video about I decided to download and play a bit of misao, I finished the story mode in about 1 hour and 30 minutes, I've also played a game earlier last year called "Ao Oni" as some of you might be familiar with (Yes I watched pewdies vid just to see what it was like) and i've become addicted to this games, so far the only games I have actually played that include horror/mystery in this sprite based game is Ao oni, Misao and mad father which I am currently working on completing so I was wondering what everyones thoughts are on this game and if possible there are similar games like these three that have been translated to english and well my favorite part of the game I would have to say is the mystery and puzzles, currently on mad father I am up to the loop when you attempt to go down the stairs in the basement I believe.

EDIT: I beat mad father, my time was 2:54 with multiple deaths

I use that Game Engine to make Games too, Ha ha.

I used it back when it came out in 2005. There was a Whole Community dedicated to it.

There are several Horror Games made using it. I made one myself a while back but never released it.

My upcoming Game will be on the Engine too and hopefully, Will be bigger than anything I've done in the past. And the Games I've done in the past are usually around 9 Hours long in their Demo Stages.

Oh and there is another one that I think is fairly new.

The Crooked Man.

Please refrain from posting that kind of off-topic messages just because a user types in a different way. Consider this a warning, Jelly.

Oh shit san, real spoiler right here I just collected all the gems and:
Spoiler
It appears there might be a mad father 2 or something, at the end it shows her father created what appears to me as a clone of her, namely Aya.

I would also suggest Ib and The Witch's House. While they were both were popularized by PDP, I can say alone, they're great games. The Witch's House is certainly the more frightening of the two, but I honestly prefer the surreal and dream-like vibe in Ib.

I merely use capital letters on some words to empthasize them. That is just my way of typing. Problem?

I didn't use capital letters on every single word like you just did. I believe you should get your vision checked. Or just fail as a troll. Either way, It's extremely Immature.

Now please. Stop derailing threads, Grow up and act your age.

This. IB was a very nicely done game. :)

I haven't played The Witch's House myself though.

Indeed, Ib was a very nice game. I got the second best ending (not going to spoil it), but i was so sad that i repeated just so i could get the best ending.

This kind of games have future, i say it!

Indeed, I hope to see some more games like this in the future, the storylines are good and the crooked man is good also, just... I got stuck on it for some reason whenever I go to open the safety deposit box in johns room, it won't let me open it.

The Crooked Man. It's very good pixel game.

PewDiePie is playing that now.
