Hey there, I have discovered about ludic dreaming and I wanna know if anyone done it, and you did, you can tell your experience here!

I haven't done it already, but in the winter holidays, I'll try the Sleep Paralysis method :3

If you want you can also discuss other sleep shit :D

Sleep Paralysis is supposed to be really scurry. I mentioned this in another thread, but I had a friend who claimed to have one and I couldn't tell if his story was bullcrap or not.

I had one when I was little, like 6-7 over there, just I'm curious if I need the dream journal for the SP method :/

I've had sleep paralysis once and I suffer from extremely infrequent Exploding Head Syndrome, mostly when I've stayed up until 4 AM. It's not fun at all and it's one of the most terrifying things you can experience. To this day I sleep on my side back to the wall and have some fear of going to sleep. Anyways Lucid Dreaming sounds really cool and I think I know exactly what I would do if given the chance to have a lucid dream. The last time I remember I had one I was doing some sick ass shit but woke up from all the "excitement" going on. You have to practice good self control as to not wake yourself up to some horrific sleep paralysis on arrival.

The first time was one of the worst experiences for me. I saw a skinned, hollowed out woman with no eyes staring into my eyes and walking around my bedroom. The other time there was lots of floating cacti in pots.
My experience was less visual. More creepy shadows and a feeling of being watched.

I think I've done it in my school bus at one point.

Sometimes though, I imagine myself in Equestria. On a concert, I play this on some speakers and single-handedly I sing to it (irl I nearly know all the lyrics in mind). It's only a matter of time until that becomes a lucid dream and my jimmies are upgraded.

Sorry for being uneducated on this subject, but what is Lucid Dreaming? I know the words are used in the LSD game, so im guessing its something to do with those insane dreams you sometimes have.

Lucid dreaming as I know it, is when you are sleeping and dreaming but you know you are dreaming, and knowing you are dreaming you can bend every rule the universe has in your dream, because it's your dream.
Short said; you are able to shape it as you want to, because you are the god in that world.

A few ways to find out that you are dreaming can be these:
-Pinch yourself in the dream
-Look at a clock in the dream, for example it can say the clock is 5, but look away and look at it again and it could say the time was 3.
Time is a broken thing inside dreams
-Look at written materials, the text will be un-readable or non existant.

If people here means the feeling of leaving your body while sleeping, that's astral projection, a completely different topic.

I did that once, it hurts anyway xD
The brain is so convinced that the world is real, that it will respond to pain too.

Not saying you should take it as a credible source, but look at the Matrix movies.
If one died in the fake world, the matrix, one died in reality too like when one of them got shot multiple times in the matrix.
The brain believes it is real until you find out and convince yourself that it isn't real, and you will become untouchable in the dream.
