I think that you don't understand what he means

It's the same deal as Steam, where it checks your computer's installed programs and puts info on it here. The only difference is that Origin didn't put that in their Terms and Conditions.

Just so you know, EA permantly banned an origin users account because he asked for a refund on sim city
