It isn't and I rarely watch animes that have a technological advance in them such as mechs and robots.

I just finished watching shugo chara... it had 102 episodes, it was so damn long but anyway as soon as I finished I started watching Sora no Otoshimono, I have to say it is so damn funny alongside being pervy.
EDIT: Also, new season of Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai inbound, it airs on japanese TVs on the 7th of this month.
