I've been having this: As my signature for a while, but it was broken until today. Upon talking with Glitch,
animated signatures are not permitted. I've seen other with them, and the voting only has
no signatures, or no animated. No option for animated signatures. I do respect having small,
neat ones, not a big banner or distracting ones, but this is a subtle little one.

Like I said, it's not enforced, but I'm someone who prefers following the rules.
I'll ask, please review the rules. This .GIF just.... it is just amazing.

I do agree that colorful, distracting ones should not be allowed, but simple looping ones (Under the size limit) should be tolerated.

I guess its to keep Shock Images at low in siggys or something like that

Upon re-reading the rules and discovering there was one against the use of animated signatures, I was a little worried I had made a mistake with mine. However, I haven't been spoken to about it by any moderators or whatnot, so I assume that my signature is acceptable. If I'm wrong, I'm perfectly willing to change it.

I always thought little animated userbars were alright but big meme gifs were a little annoying. I think the rule should be enforced more.

1. There are way too many ponies around here.

2. The rule was instituted to help people with slower internet connection speeds, and to cut down on all of the old large image signatures that were being used.

That gif can be compressed to under 300kB, without quality reduction.

What about mine? Its only made with about 12-15 frames, and i tried to keep it pretty small. It was only a test though when i was learning how to make GIF's, so im not bothered if i need to change.

Also, pointless 300 posts achievement. Yay.

I have made a few Gifs that are small some of their file sizes are even below 20Kbs.
