Where to start? Well, first why I bothered to come here to post.

I need lots of people to share this awesome simulator with. I thought you guys could be an option. so

What to say? NationStates is a simulator that allows you to control your own... empire? Republic? Kingdom? It's all up to you guys, you can choose that too.

NationStates is a nation simulation game. Create a nation according to your political ideals and care for its people. Or deliberately oppress them. It's up to you.

I don't know alot to say as I just registered on the game yesterday but it's enjoyable as far as I'm experiencing it now.

It's not a flash game or anything, pretty much the opposite infact. It's all text stuff with a few images related, but nonetheless good.

This looks interesting. However, the site seems very large. Can you link me to the game itself? I would like to attempt this game and befriend you nation-state, should I have the opportunity to.

A friend actually did this for a school project before and showed it to me.

Didn't care about it then, don't now. Sounds boring as all Hell to me, but I got nothing against people who enjoy it.

If you just head to http://www.nationstates.net/ and click Create a Nation, you can start simply from there. Try to find the FAQ aswell.
