So, I ask all of you this question: What is the most emotional game ever.
The Last of Us' intro made me cry, but Heavy Rain just.... I cried when I failed to save Shaun and Ethan
SPOILERS
Spoiler
shot himself over Shaun's grave with Madison feet away from him. At-least Lauren shot Shelby though, so it's not all bad.
Please put any spoilers in actual spoiler tags.
I'm anxious to hear what you have to say!

Games that actually got my teary eyed.. hmm

The Walking Dead Episode 5 (I don't need to explain this, do I?)
Bioshock 1 Good Ending. It was just so PERFECT. Not that Bioshock Infinite was bad, but it just didn't have that edge.
Red Dead Redemption Ending -- Just... WHY!?

Video Games don't really affect me.

But If I had to pick, I guess It would be -

The Walking Dead by Telltale Games

Fall Out 3

Metal Gear Solid 3 is THE most emotional game I have ever played

The final boss is heart breaking, the final boss's death is heart breaking, the ending is the saddest ever, pretty much involving the final boss is sad. But the ONLY way you will understand why the ending and the boss's death is sad, is to play the game,

The brain cannot tell the difference between thoughts and actions. It's why people share emotions with the person they are reading about in a book, so they do affect you. Unless you are a robot cyborg. In which case you feel nothing.

And Serimah, can you explain why The Walking Dead was emotional?

Well... if you haven't played it there really is no point.
Spoiler
You go through the whole game with your character, looking after the little girl Clementine as if she were your own daughter.
Just so you can end up being bitten and turning into a zombie yourself. Which forces you into a very emotional goodbye with Clementine.
Especially as you have the choice to have her either leave you behind you or shoot you. Clementine just trying to hold it together while taking aim at you, crying...
And the final "I will miss you." that just did it for me.

I hate to be that guy. But Bioshock Infinite... I've never ever had a game make me tear up, besides the bioshock franchise and The Last Of Us. Mass effect as well. But the Mild Spoilers! Scene in Bioshock when Elizabeth sings to the child I just .... yeah, I listen to that song soo freaking much now.... also bioshock 2's good ending made me tear up from just so many emotions. But the neutral ending... I just, no words haha.

Also Bioshock infinite literally made me care about a game character more than I ever had before. Friggen beautiful.

Side note: I never really ever show emotion, let alone cry, so that's a big deal.

Both endings to infamous 2 are so depressiing

Good ending-you kill the beast (a powerful collosal being0 at the cost of killing yourself

Evil ending-The beast gives you his powers and you become the beast, doesn't sound that emotional but they way they made that ending is so depressing to watch, it's even more depressing to listen to

Most emotional game ever?....

Yeah... emotion can be in any way if it is happy or sad.. but you mean the sad ones i see. That is always the thing when talking about emotions in games..
so...

Yes of course Heavy Rain... that game is just so... indescribable.........
an emotional rollercoaster.

There is MUCH to talk about that... now i am too... i do not know... i must sort out my thoughts for that. Large Story, you know.
But you only want to know games and not to talk about it. THAT deserve his own thread...
That does count for the other games i will mention too and it is hard to stop me before i write every freaking thing about it. I will try just to mention the name.

But anyway each his own because i know some people who can not understand that. Now i am ok with that. I am still learning live to understand ;P
You know when you saying to someone "This game is sad because....." then it is not sad because the other one wait for the sad moment and probably know about it. This not work this way...

Here some other games that....

Ico
just wow. That really got me... really really got me.

Shadow of the Colossus
no words...

both are art...

And a secret tip from me is

Silent Hill Shattered Memories
depressing...

then of course the other Silent Hill games too.
Like Silent Hill 1
because of Lisa...

I think i must buy The last of Us then and The Walking Dead.
Sounds like games for me when you saying that it is emotional ;P
