Can you even find a key, or do you HAVE to buy them?

For all the time that I've played Team Fortress, I've never, EVER heard about finding a key, I haven't found one either.

But I did bought some though, so, I think you do have to buy them.

You have to buy them.

I remember keys being more expensive than the game itself at some point, though that was before it was free.

Team Fortress 2 : The Hat Simulator *shot*
Even though TF2 isn't really a serious game I heard something about a $500 hat my friend told me about when he was on another server. It gives me the vibes that TF2 could become the virtual fashion game VALVe apparently didn't want to do in the first place.

For me it never made sense that if you buy a game then you have to upgrade it with InApp purchases, just, no.

Actually, the most expensive hat ever sold was a Burning Team Captain. It was around $3000 or something. There's only like 6 of those hats in the whole game so i'm not surprised.

Be amazed, gentlemen.

AANND there's also a guy who collects all unusuals, has $30000+ in only hats and rare stuff.
