Wow, I should look up the soundtracks for the earlier seasons again, that piece gave my memory quite a boost.

Yeah, A girl in the fireplace was defiantly one of the most emotional episodes of the new series, I can think of a few more coming your way too.

I still have tears in my eyes when I hear this soundtrack and think about it. It hit me right in the feels.
Not only that it was so damn sad... all.. this episode was so damn good near perfect.
As I saw the preview I did not expect much from it and the title was strange.
But now... oh god.. I still think about it even if the episode is long over. I love it.
It is something deeper.
It let me thought about my own live. It shows how fleeting live can be.

I just found out that there is a series called "Torchwood" and this could not be a random name ;)
I saw the first Episode now. It was interesting.
But before I watch this I think I must watch Doctor Who more...
I mean there was a "Cybermen" reference and I have no idea what they are.
I think I am going to watch "Rise of the Cybermen" some time after this post.

Cybermen are the second most iconic Doctor Who monster, after Daleks. Introduced in 1966, the Classic Series Cybermen originally were humans from Earth's lost long twin planet, Mondas. Mondas drifted out of the solar system, becoming an ice covered inhabitable planet. To survive, the surviving Mondasians converted themselves into Cyborgs, causing the removal of all of their emotions, which they became to believe is a weakness. They constantly try to boost their numbers by a process called Cyber Conversion (turning other beings into them). There's a lot more on them but the post would be too big.

The ones in the new series however (Cybus) have no connection with the Classic series ones (which I prefer hugely). The new Cybermen are way too Robot Like in my opinion, you can hardly tell they were once human compared to the Mondasian ones. And they make too much noise. Still, you should know enough about these ones after the two parter.

Extra Fact, the Robot head with handles in the display case you saw in "Dalek" (you saw Dalek, right?) was a 1975 Mondasian Cybermen head from "Revenge of the Cybermen", to many fans the worst Classic Cybermen Story. Nifty head guns though.

Ok I did some research, there is a show called Torchwood, which is a spinoff show Sorry for the slight spoiler but Jack works for it, and he is the main character of that show.
Want to know why its called Torchwood? Mix up the letters until you get it right.

Oh wow, I only just realized Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who. Thanks, Larry!

Here in England, they're holding a big 50th Anniversary event at the Bluewater shopping centre. All my friends and I are going and we're each cosplaying as a different generation of Doctor. At the moment, only I am unsure of which Doctor to go as and I doubt I'll have a perfect costume since I've never been good at cosplay. Someone's already doing Tom Baker grumble grumble despite me having a much better insane grin.

I recently found that out too. I have seen the first two episodes now. It is interesting.
It continues at the point where season 2 from Doctor Who ends. It all makes sense now because I have seen the ending from season 2 now...

I can not believe that this is over now with... Rose...
I saw now everything up to the special episode from season 2...
I do not know if this was a short or a long time...
All the adventures... the happy moments... the sad moments...
I love this show now!

Should I continue with Season 3?... YES!
