For one, they're touchPADS, and they work like a trackpad on a laptop. Sure, I hate laptop trackpads, but only because an actual, physical mouse is so much more accurate, the same way I like the idea of the touchpads because they replace analog sticks. If you mean that thing in the middle, that was replaced with four buttons. No screen anywhere on the thing.

Still, you can probably try it at a video game store like Gamestop when it comes out, and then you can decide whether you like a normal controller better.
