If anything fails,
Crank the engines to full power.
If no working engines present then
Swoop straight down for speed.
Pull plane at exactly 90 degrees.
Planes speed/fall rate stabilize.
Perfect orbit achieved.
Land when you orbit past runway...

As stated above you can glide to the nearest runway and drop fuel off then land your borkeded plane
