Has anyone ever played the old game "Area 51" by Midway, released in 2005? If not, I'll post some screenshots for it so you can get an idea of what it's like.

I liked the game when I was younger, but as I grew older it sort of turned meh for me. There are things about it that for me just stick out like a loose nail.

I've never heard of this game :O Is Midway still around today? I lost all news of new games from them after 2005

Not sure if Midway is still around, but that's just me. Area 51 is quite fun, actually. It's for the PS2, PC, and original Xbox. I think PS2 Games work on the PS3, but I can't be sure. If you want the disk, I'm sure someone is still selling them.

Only the first set of PS3 have backwards compatibility. After that they removed it so that they could sell their "classic" HD remastered games. Greedy bastards.

I have actually seen the game before, but it didn't stand out to be anything special to me. Looked like a common alien FPS.

Looks can be deceiving. Let's leave it at that. And BTW, half the things you fight aren't alien. :x

So what you are saying is... that you fight aliens half the time... and the other half your fighting, by the sound of how you said it, humans.

...So basically it is just like Half-Life.

Maybe I wasn't specific enough - The closest thing to a "human" that you're fighting are the Illuminati. But the first things you're fighting are mutants who are capable of holding every firearm you use.
