So, I am working on making a Google Chrome extension that notifies you if any new posts have been made and has a link that directs you directly to said new post.

Since I have started to learn coding not long ago, it will probably take a while to have the finished thing, but I guess I can upload a few "updates" if I see they are useful. This is solely for fun so don't expect it to be a big and fast project.

Being it a fairly simple thing to do for someone with higher knowledge in coding, I won't be accepting full help (maybe tips and hits to help me along the way), because I am pretty sure a lot of you could do this thing in no time.

So far, it looks something like this
Yep, its not much. The only thing it does is take you to the forum that you select. I plan on making it show the icon that tells you if there is new posts, and a direct link to the post.

I was literally just thinking about something like this today. Seriously, everyone should just get out of my head. You'll get lost and confused if you stay in there too long, anyway.

That is a really neat idea. I often have trouble remembering all the threads I intend to follow or even finding all the latest related posts in the first place.

I hate bumping old threads, but I don't want this thing to disappear before I can finish the notifier. I'm still working on this and I'm currently trying to do the general notifier. I'm close to implementing the basic notifier. It will just tell you when there is a new post in the forums themselves, not in which sub-forum. I might have this done by the next week, maybe.

Do you guys want me to release it when it is implemented, or would you rather wait for me to finish it completely?

I'd definitely try it out even when it's not quite finished. So... just give us a shout whenever you feel like it

Alright, I'll make it ready for download as soon as I finish it.
