It's a greek word, it's meaning is "crooked."

Bent out of shape, or even dishonest or illegal (crooked definition) doesn't seem to fit too well.

Made it up myself - thought it would be strange if it was a greek symbol.
It would be cool if this game was 3D, but no biggys, I like and miss 2D games.
