Yeah, PC Gamer posted news on those photos on Tuesday. It looks interesting indeed. The amount of effort seen here is unlike anything I've ever seen in the games industry, this especially applies even if it turns out to be a hoax.

I can't wait for what Valve has in store next.

Ever heard of the game Crysis?

This is probably pretty damn legit, c-boat leaked it and he's known for being accurate on the leaks he has done.

There was also a screenshot of another part of the level AND a filelist of Source 2 stuff.

Not to mention those whole Source 2 PPT and screenshots are from THREE years ago. Gaben mentioned that they were working on a new pipeline thing because working with Source was becoming really painful due to how old the methods were.

I'd find you the extra screenshots but i'm too lazy :/

And to CL:

While Source or the upcoming Source 2 have pretty ok graphics for the gen (TF2 aged incredibly well) it's known that they don't have the most fancy stuff out there, but there's something odd about how Source looks which i can't quite pinpoint which makes it feel great, there's kinda a cartoonish aspect to it even to things that try to be realistic.

It was time for Source to be dropped since HL2 now just looks so old for today, back then it was like woaaaah but now all you can see are blocky textures and odd lighting. The faceposing system is still pretty nice though.

No need to be excited about Source 2. It will come in it's own time, and it's been confirmed that it's in development.
What we DO need to be exited about is the possibility of Half-Life 3 on this new engine...

Would be nice to see some parallax mapping now, parallax mapping brightens everybody's days.
