I managed to get the same ending when I played it before. The fact that you're basically the only two survivors is still kind of sad though.

Yea. It's a great game. Too bad you can only play it once.

I think you can get around it by doing some funky shit with your cookies. I remember playing it multiple times in the past but can't remember what i did
