Battlefront II, no deals on it, still bought anyways.

Seriously SWBFII is the very definition of my childhood. I resisted for so long. I couldn't take not having it anymore.

Battle Front II was a good game. I remember playing it on the PS2, before we got rid of ours.

Battlefront II was amazing, even without multiplayer (I could never get online multiplayer to work on my PS2, but I know it was possible). I would spend countless hours in Mos Eisley's Heroes vs. Villains gamemode. Not that I didn't spend countless hours in every other part of the game. I'm hesitant about getting it again, though, because I'm afraid I won't have nearly as much fun playing it. Nostalgia has a weird way of making things from the past seem so much better than they would be now. In other words, nostalgia is a fucking prick.

I was actually looking at Battlefront II on Steam and thinking about getting it..

But It looks like the Multiplayer no longer works ever since they took down GameSpy?

Due to GameSpy shutting its doors, no Star Wars Battlefront, or Empire at War game's multiplayer works. Use Tunngle, EVOLV3, Hamachi, whatever to do multiplayer.

That's strange. Mine still works regardless..

Battlefront 2 multiplayer is still working. Use GameRanger. I actually own a very old copy (when it wasn't on Steam) and play from time to time.

I've currently bought the Black Mesa: Source beta and I might get Alien vs Predator 2010, but people say the multiplayer is dead so I'm not sure about it.

Juicy is right. While GameSpy was shut down, you can still get GameRanger to play Battlefront 2.

I wouldn't recommend it then. The single player campaigns were ok, but nothing worth spending money on.
