If you practice in certain skills (Texturing, Modelling, Coding, etc.) and put in the hours of effort needed to create assets for the game that are actually unfinished or requested by Regalis, than maybe you will be listed as a contributor. If you can't put in that effort, or cannot take criticism for work that may be inadequate, than you don't really deserve the title.

The problem with your goal is that the game, for the most part, is finished and most assets have been created by the community already. If there are assets that have not been created by now, than they are most likely in development as we speak by other members with more refined skills. If you had come into development at an earlier stage, maybe you would have had more time and less competition to produce said assets.

I guess I should take criticism.

I may be misinterpreting you here (see below) but honestly, you really shouldn't be doing GFX/SFX (or any form of work for that matter) for the sake of contributing to a project. You should be doing this because you are genuinely vested in the end result of your endeavors, not so that you receive recognition for it. Go through the credits for CB, you will not find a single person on there who put in the work that they did for the sole purpose of putting their name/alias put on a fucking text document that very few people, if anyone, will ever read.

So don't put work in because you want to be a contributor, don't put work in for something the forum thinks the game needs, don't put work in if Reg himself asks for assets; put work in because you, and only you want your ideas to come to fruition. If your work doesn't make it to an official release, then so be it; if you worked for your benefit it should not matter what Reg or anyone else thinks.

Now as for the actual topic at hand, you seem to have the common symptoms of being young:

1. You're really fucking bad at articulating your points
2. You treat people here like you would your peers/friends at school

I can't really give you advice on the first one, but from my anecdotal experience it becomes much easier as your reading comprehension improves. I will say that it's an incredibly important skill to have, regardless of where you are and what you're doing. This is particularly important on the internet because it's one of the few good indicators of whether or not one should be taken seriously. Nothing says "I have no idea what I'm talking about" like a poorly constructed piece of writing does.

I think the second point is where your problem truly lies. As harsh as it may be, you have to realize that very few people will care about what you have to say in general. This is only worse on the internet, as nobody really even needs to pretend that they do. I've noticed that you (like many others) don't really have much of a filter when it comes to posting, so you often find that a decent portion of your posts have very little substance to them. Effectively, they don't really add anything to the conversation and as such, they really aren't worth reading. It's perfectly fine to leave a snide, meaningless comment here or there, but when it becomes commonplace is where problems arise.

Just remember that you're only 11, most people are going to assume that you're an annoying little shit by default; a little effort to prove them wrong goes a long way.
