Well, we all know Nintendo reacted to the music... Just go search the music from lavander town from pokemon Silver/Gold/Crystal...

Yea, they changed it from gen 1 pokemon games to the gen 2 games.
They kept the gen 1 theme in the 2 remakes Fire red and Leaf green though.

Well, considering it's no longer a grave-yard town and is now a radio station town, gloomy music is a bit unfitting, isn't it?
