This is for all discussion of anime or manga, discuss anything about anime or manga here, well I don't really know how to start this thread but what would you say is the best anime you've watched? I'd have to say one of my personal favorites would be either Guilty Crown, Mirai Nikki or Ao No Exorcist I could never choose between the three because they are great anime series.

Well I would say a favourite Manga but to be honest I haven't been all for reading manga for 4 years the last one I read I can't even begin to remember.

Let's see .... my favorite Animes as of late/generally would be...

Death Note
Hellsing Ultimate
Elfen Lied
Kuroshitsuji aka. Black Butler
Tokyo Godfathers
Cowboy Beebob
Rounin Kensin
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Perfect Blue

Those are the ones I can watch at any time and still be entertained as if it were the first time I'm watching them.
But really... I've read so many Mangas and watched so many Anime Series/Movies... I could go on for quite a while.

I've watched Kuroshitsuji, it is not all that bad infact that was the first anime I watched when I came back to watching anime for the first time in a long time, I have yet to watch Elfen lied and I am not too sure about Death Note the fact I have met so many fans who are literally obsessed with it makes me wonder if it is not worth watching.

Seitokai Yakuindomo.
Even it's only 13 episodes and a few OVAs, that anime is hilarious as hell.

Digimon season 1 and 2.
The anime of my childhood was season 1, started to watch season 2 in my teenage years.

Elfen lied.
Lots of blood.

Nichijou.
So random it hurts, and funny.

Gokudo.
Medieval type-ish anime, strange but fun.

.//Hack Sign
.//Hack Roots
.//Hack Legend of the twilight bracelet
Mmorpg type animes with 90% of the story being inside an online game where the original developer of the game made a blackbox program inside the game, which allowed the game itself to become sentient and evolve into a self running AI which about 99% of the players don't know about. The remaining 1% being a group of characters involved in destroying the bug AIs which the game creates as its going mentally insane or threatened to crash.
It also makes people in the real world fall into comas if they are killed by the bug monsters.

Still not done, need to check my external harddrive for others.

Death Note became a bit too "mainstream" that's true. However, the story depth and charismatic characters make it worth watching despite moronic fans.
At the moment I'm watching such a wide array of Anime on Animecrazy.net it's really hard to chose at times.

Also, Elfen Lied is also one of those Animes with stunning character development and a very impressive story.
But it's more on the serious side really.... funny Animes are usually not my kinda thing but Ouran Highschool Host Club is downright hilarious :D
Or Perfect Girl Evolution, Ponyo of the Cliff etc.

Hakase not being able to catch popcorns with her mouth after throwing them in the air, and then throwing the popcorns at Sakamoto, is so damn cute and funny.
