I know that I could always take screenshots with the "Print Screen" key, but does anyone have any idea why when I try to take a screenshot with bandicam that this is what I get:

Yes I have, but Fraps is terrible compared to bandicam, I have ways around taking screenshots, I was just more confused at why this would happen.

I don't understand why someone can't just make a good open source all purpose recording sodtware because all of them are shit.

Fraps is good, except that its video file sizes are HUGE. Bandicam is good as well, except its quality is less than half decent. (These are only my opinions based on experience.) I too, wish there were a good game capture program that didn't take up too many system resources while you're playing.
Staying on topic though, what are your system specs prizna?

I make vids with a pirated version of fraps and convert it to .wmv so the file isn't so damn biig.
