Despite the rivalry between SCP and Slender, I'm posting this anyways. Slender: The Eight Pages is getting a sequel, Slender: The Arrival. This game gets a major overhaul on graphics, which is the foremost difference. The other is that this new Slender game is getting an actual story and levels, with varying gameplay. We can see what appears to be possible Slender Children (from an earlier Slenderman game), and multiple characters and environments.

So with this coming out in the next few months, and the upcoming official release of SCP: Containment Breach, I smell a rivalry brewing. One of SCPs major selling points over Slender was its implementation of story, which Slender lacked an official explanation of. Also, its graphics are clearly superior to SCP. As for real gameplay, we'll have to figure that out when the game releases. Now this is the main drawback: Arrival will be a commercial release. That means money. Money is the reason I don't have Amnesia.

So with this impending release, what does our community think about it?

Better graphics, Parsec Productions, Marble Hornets crew making the story...this is going to be awesome!

Honestly what might ruin it is how so many people are making SCP games, some are good and some are shiiiiit.
If people see the feces first they will be turned away from the SCP world altogether, and current fans will be mocked by association.

Well, I LOVE both the Slender and the SCP franchise so I'm good.
Really looking forward to this... I've been playing pretty much every single Slender game (many shitty ones... oh god) and I've been waiting for the "Arrival" for quite a bit.
"Haunt - The real Slender game" was a step in the right direction...

The graphics are just amazing, and i havent seen many games where the graphics, the lighting and the ambience made it feel so real as in this game.

I smell too a rivality with SCP:CB and S:A, maybe in next updates Regalis may make a overhaul to the graphics
But i still like SCP most than Slender, though i haven't played it yet (gonna do it soon)

And forgot to mention, since Slender Arrival will be commercial release, it will be much know worldwide than CB, but less people may want to play Arrival, and more TEP (The Eight Pages) and SCP:CB, i don0t know why, but i smell a commercial sequel to CB :S
