Yeah, I also thought nothing of it when I was trying out the containment procedure for the first time since 0.5.3(I believe...)
Hence the confusion when 106 personally came around to "inform" me that the re-containment failed.
Man, I should've asked for an autograph...

But seriously. If you can contain 106 with the Magnets on all the time, what was the point of implementing it in the first place?
I understand that you can now use it to re-release 106 but before that? It worked just fine when you turned them off, lured 106 and then turned them on again :(

Sorry for double-posting but I think that after loading a previously saved game the 106 containment-procedure becomes bugged.
I left the Magnet on the whole time and merely turned on the sound and broke the Femur. However I was greeted with this atrocious sight shortly after:

I read somewhere that even if you do the containment procedures correctly, that there is no guarantee that it will in fact contain 106.

Or maybe my faulty brain is just remembering incorrectly o.O

Yeah it does seem that even if you do the Containment procedure correctly, there is still a chance of 106 escaping and coming after your sweet ass.
Although the whole magnet thing was correct.

As previously suggested it's not necessary to turn off the Magnets at all. Just turn on the Audio transmission, break the femur and that's it.
As soon as 106 spawns inside his little breadbox he'll be unable to escape again. Unless of course you lower the Magnets. THAT will cause him to sniff you out and spank your naughty ass.

Yeah that actually works. I also prefer doing it my/your way Fox but more and more often 106 would suddenly appear through the window even with my timing being spot on.
