So im new to C# and I need ideas on what to edit and create please start very small as im very new please reply with ideas

hey, this sounds great. if you don't know NILMOD has been dissolved so maybe make a new version of that!

I was unaware my mod had been dissolved - I made no such announcement and generally I am available in the undertow discord and other discord servers. I've been semi-active and hadn't released my not-yet ready code as landon had updated my mod for me.

I at least released a version with what I have at the moment.

Back on track though - I would just try to experiment at first, read random classes in the code, play the game and see what you feel could be changed or cool to try out / edit.

If you create a change you consider cool - its possible to ask the devs to implement it into the base game which you could ask how later.

I suppose what I'm trying to say is just play around and have fun learning how to edit the game and where things in Barotrauma code are at

Some examples of what modders added in the past: Crowbars, throwing medical drugs, multi-traitor, new CPR mechanics + animation.

If your completely out of ideas, its possible barotraumas github feature requests could have something - but honestly I'd just play with the code and see if you get any suggestions from players here or in the undertow games discord if you ask there.

yeah sorry about that nil. at the time I posted this It seemed that you weren't going to update it nor did I know about the guy who made the 0.8.1.2 version. I apologise for the comment and it's great to see you updating it

1. A great mod idea though is a timer so the game automatically ends after a certain amount of time
2. how about a mod that makes the server talk automatically with timed messages, so you can remind players to read the rules and such
3. a mod that allows admins and mods of servers to make server-wide announcements that move at the top of the screen

4. maybe a mod that allows players to change the color of their text. make it so the admins can change if any player or only admins can use it. not even sure if this is possible

How about a mod that adds a hazmat suit protecting the wearer from being infected?

A mod about the Alien franchise.
