I meant a weapon that shoots with metal needles (bolts), not syringes

Whenever I think of a needle gun, I think of a gun shooting those tiny sewing needles.

I think i figured out what Bob meant.
Some sort of machine gun like weapon instead of harpoons or revolvers. I imagine this wouldn’t work out side of the sub
