Alright, sounds great. I'll definitely share some texture tests with you + Regalis to see how things pan out when I get to the texturing part. I'm locking in the high-poly sculpt now, now onto Retopology (another very difficult part). Basically the High Poly sculpt itself is to show what exactly what an actually entity is in full detail; but it's over 100,000 polygons and is pretty much unsuitable for being used in a game engine performance wise, so now I have to remake the monster over the high poly mesh that's much more optimized for game use.
Wow Mirocaine, it is starting to look FANTASTIC! I love watching this model being developed and slowly become and epic mix of horror and awesomeness!
That's also really cool the person who wrote the SCP loves what you did too. Way to go dude, I have been really excited to see how this works out in terms of the development of the game.

Alright, update on the Retopo mesh:

That black net is the low poly mesh, It's not quite as shiny as the high poly one, but suitable for being used in-game without framerate issues. (Once again the High Poly one will bake out a lot of extra details + shading to the low poly one, which will make the texture look nice). I should have the retopo finished today and move onto texturing.

As for texturing, I did a quick browse on Normal Maps for fur and found out how Shadow of the Colossus does it's fur for they're colossi:

Basically in a nutshell they create and overlay several layers of the colossi's fur poly's as simple planes, then use Alpha Maps for the textures to create transparency and add Normals along with Anistrophic highlights and shading. So it may be possible for the creature as well if it needs some light fur or something.

Alright, low poly mesh finished!:

It's not quite as shiny as the original Sculpt (almost 5,000 poly's), but when I bake out the AO and Normal maps it should come close and still be great performance-wise =)
Another thing I have to consider now is how big it's going to actually be? I was thinking double the height of a normal human male (10-11 feet?) here's a size comparison:

Next up is Texturing, any textures, sketches, and idea's are appreciated from anyone.

I wonder if it sprint REALLY fast would it go on all fours? Like it can run normally hunched over and on two feet, but when it ultimately sprinting towards the player it can go on all fours in almsot a very humanoid/animalistic fashion.

It'll be a mix of Bipedal + Quadruped animations; It's AI will be unique; it is sort of a sentient entity, possibly violent or does something worse to it's prey, I'm not sure. There seems to be also hallucinations and other bizarre things that have happened to the D-class personnel who have explored it (and ultimately ended up unknown M.I.A. or K.I.A.). It'll definitely be more aggressive + faster due to red mist perhaps though.

Besides texture ideas/Images, I also need Audio for the creature and possibly a voice actor. Here's the samples from the exploration logs that it should mimic:
http://scp-wiki.wdfiles.com/local--file ... review.wav Howl (It's actually a distorted wolf howl, I could use other weird animal + human howls as well).
http://scp-wiki.wdfiles.com/local--file ... XX%202.wav Voice sample (in-game it'll be reversed).
