1048 is definitely too 'lethal' as an SCP. What I mean by that is all of the ones currently in the game (173, 106, 096 and so forth) need to get up close and personal to be a threat and are somewhat easily apprehended/avoided (I know the MTFs carry guns, but they're just stoopid humans). When it comes to 1048, there's not much one can do about a horrible flesh teddy that suffocates you with ears. The metal bear was arguably worse ("The damn thing jumped right through those poor people"), and the vulnerability of these things isn't made obvious. Basically, the moment you come within twenty metres of a teddy bear, you're dead.

EDIT: Remembered 682. He's probably a hell of a lot more dangerous, but the player wouldn't confront him like he would the other SCPs.

The ear one is the only one i think is overpowered. The infant and scrap teddies you just have to avoid. Like we do with 173 or 096 (as long as possible). think about it. There could be a chance for them to spawn in the vents and drop down. they wouldn't be too fast either to give the player a chance.

I agree that 1048-B was just repulsive, and maybe not too much of a threat (it's creation was more traumatic than the creature itself), but it's implied that 1048-C was both violent and fast. It was easily able to outrun/outmaneuver the Foundation personnel pursuing it and just bored straight through any living thing it encountered. If 1048 is to be included in the game at all, it should probably be a non-canon duplicate (As Doctor Carver stated on the document, they have no idea how many of the things are out there).

A 1048 built out of anomalous ducks! Make it happen.

1048 would not be dangerous, it just wants to love you and hug you.
1048-A, yea, to overpowered. Maybe you could see him in one of the doctor;s offices and he is turned around but turns to you, and you have to shut the door before he starts his sound. sometimes randomly spawns in one of the offices.
1048-B, 'Subject's appearance was nearly identical to SCP-1048, but it moved in an irregular, jerky manner'. I does not say much about what it looks like.Nearly identical can mean anything. Start making some concept art artists.
1048-C, i can see him in my head, sharp blades of versus metals on the arms with a part of a crutch for its left leg. a little cod over his chest and some scraps covering most of its body.
can they open doors.

I have 2 SCP suggestions:
1. SCP 076 - "Able" and
2. SCP 073 - "Cain"

Cain is a peaceful guy according to the wiki and is always willing to help the foundation. So I'd think you could find him in the game and when you do he will follow you around. Now his abilities are to reflect any damage delt to him to the attacker while he receives no damage at all and killing all plant life. SO I'd say as he follows you around he'll protect you from MTF units that fire at you.

Able on the other hand is a very aggressive SCP and doesn't seem to stand Cain. SCP-076 is formed of SCP-076-1 which is a cube that spawns SCP-076-2 which is Able. So Able's room will contain that cube that's like a mini-room from which he spawns. He will try to kill you and MTF units. If Cain is near you he'll go like beserker, ignore you and go after Cain.

These two could be used for gate C. Able breaks out of the facility and you'd need to use Cain as a distraction for you to escape the facility. Since Able is hard to kill, but not invincible, trying to kill Cain will end up killing himself and in order for gate C ending to work he needs to be alive and Cain with you.

Another possibility would be that you have Cain with you and Able chasing you. You go with them to gate C where they start to fight, creating a distraction for you in order to leave. As an ending, just as you reach the exit SCP-106 spawns in front of you and traps you in his pocket dimension where you end up in one of his little cells with other people.

The intercom could say:
"SCP-076 has broken out through Gate C. Fire at will and do not let SCP-073 near him at all means!"
"SCP-073 is closing by Gate C with a D-Class personnel. Terminate him an imprison SCP-073, NOW!"
"SCP-073 has reached Gate C and made eye contact with SCP-076. All MTF units are called at Gate C. Fire at will!"
and stuff like that. What do you think?

Why would Cain breach containment anyway, he is free to walk around the facility and I don't thank he would leave his room. He is probably asleep because I am sure he has seen several Containment breaches all the time he has been there. Because he cant be hurt, there is no reason for Cain to be thought of during the lock down. You should be able to find his two room cell and check him out. He would talk to you of course but the d-class is mute and cant talk back. Even if Cain followed you, i don't think he would protect you from MTF. MTF would be like "Scp-073 is be sited along with D-class, returning 073 to his cell and terminating class D" I bet Cain would not even care. He would be like :| :P
Yes I thank "Able" would be a a fit for Containment Beach. I can see him this a stern facile excretion. 420-j bro!

Yeah, I love the idea. I simply wanted a way to make able taken his mind off you and create a new ending with him. Cain always seemed to accept what people tell him so if you'd ask him to help you get out, he would probably accept and take the bullets for you. I just like the idea of having Cain with you and taking the bullets for you that end up in killing the MTFs that seem to care more about terminating you than containing an SCP XD

Gonna vote no on Cain and Able.

Able's been suggested before, it would be like letting 682 wander around. There's no way to hurt anything, so Cain would be a waste. Also, having anything talk to you would ruin the isolation part of the game. You're supposed to be completely alone.
