Medical wing/section - Here you will find items such as med kits, eye drops and a perfect place ( one that makes sense anyway) for SCP 500-1. However, the SCP will have it's own little room on a table surround by lab equipment making it appear as if they were examining it, and it's document will be next to it. So, you have all these good items in one spot there has to be a catch right? Here is were it gets juicy. This location is where 049 can be. Upon entering the medical wing the player will notice 049's zombies laying on the floor and on the hospital beds, as for 049 he will be in a room that has a curtain drawn ( like the privacy curtains you see in hospital rooms) when you enter the room the event triggers and 049 walks out from behind it and starts after the player, this also triggers the zombies to get up and chase the player as well. ( same as it did before, basically). To add more fear to the medical area you should have 049's containment chamber close to this area so that players can find it before reaching the medical one. That way when a player enters his empty chamber and reads the document they can be like. " Oh shit...This thing is loose somewhere." giving it some scary foreshadowing if you will
More detail could be added to the medical section like an embalming room and a morgue ( where you could place more zombies ) I should note that the morgue should be clearly marked to creep the player out more. "Nope, not going in there lol." if they do they will see the corpses that have been cut open and stitched back up.
Abandoned/quarantined section This is where SCP 303 could be. Before entering the area you see hazard warnings posted on the wall telling you it's been closed for quarantine and requires a clearance level of X to enter it. After entering you enter a long hallway with a set of doors at the end that will have two large windows. Both of these look fogged up/cloudy then you will catch a glimpse of 303 (Pretty good for a jumpscare) After entering that's where he can start to mess with you by wheezing behind doors and etc. Also in this abandoned section can be 035's old room ( The room looks old and badly damaged and you could have those hand things grab at the player if they go in there.) and SCP-086 which doesn't have to do anything, you could make it just for aesthetics. The overall look of the abandoned section should look old and rundown as if it really was just sealed off and left to rot due to 303.

Theater : This is where the site workers go for entertainment, but since the breach, its been wrecked, maybe some kind of video will play on the big screen or maybe an easter egg of some kind, maybe if you wait long enough, a list of people who contributed to the game will scroll across the screen.
Vault : Where the foundation keeps non-scp things from the log of anomalous items, maybe you could perhaps find a few there.
Greenhouse : Where they could place some plant SCP's , every so often the sprinklers will turn on.
Computer room : A room full of cubicles and computers, maybe similar to the server room, 173 could chase the player around it.
Kitchen : Where the food is cooked, maybe there could be some kind of food related SCP or some kind of useful item here, if there's a cafeteria the kitchen could be located close to it.

#35Alright, well, here's something that I thought about last night. It relates a little with rooms and the mapping.
Ever since the 0.7 update, the game tends to generate extremely drawn out maps that have at least one stretch of 3 or more hallways, and tons of repeated rooms. Say for the new T-shaped room that Regalis posted screenshots for, before the update, with the pipes. I was interested in this room, because it seems like it would be a rare occurrence.

This room appears way too often, I thought it was going to be a room that only appeared once. What I honestly think, is that most rooms should only spawn once in a map. Yeah, I know, that sounds crazy, but I think they should spawn once, but can have multiple variations. Some rooms do have multiple variations. The T-shaped room has a couple, one with a bridge if I remember correctly. But yeah, in all honesty, the way some rooms can appear more than 5 times in a facility is kinda unrealistic. There should even be more variations of the hallways. What I'm saying is that, yes, the randomized nature of the game is what makes it fun, but the way there are so many common and reused rooms throughout the facility is kind of bland.It slep time bunner.

Cold storage : Where the site keeps things frozen, it could just be a crepy room and maybe something important could be placed in here.
Morgue : Where the site studies the bodies of its test subjects, maybe some victims of 008 could show up here and maybe a chance of 049 or some of its victims.

#38I have the exact same problem with the map Generation Ominary has, in fact I remember being the first one posting about it (probably). Too many hallways, or at least more variations of them. I do like the Greenhouse idea as i'm sure there are quite a few plant based SCP's to choose from, though it would have to be outside so that's either right near the end of the game, or an open area that has 10m high walls.

I'd link as a URL, but this computer does not have that capability.
Anyways, this is actually a really good idea. I suggest inserting this in heavy containment area as what may have been used for some tests. Perhaps SCP-008 tests, which would make more use of the worthless SCP.
