After acquiring the Alicorn Amulet, Trixie had taken a visit to Canterlot in an attempt to free Discord from his stone prison. Her success was limited to his spirit, which was just enough for Discord to use his magic when desired. The following day, Princess Celestia had sensed Discord to be missing from his stone body during her daily visit to the stone encased draconaquus. She immediately called for Twilight Sparkle and her friends. Upon their arrival, Celestia had given them the objective of locating and re-containing Discord. They wasted no time in taking their respected Elements of Harmony, and beginning the search by the tactic of splitting up.

Discord took advantage of the split up. One by one, he fused the Elements of Harmony with their wearers by the use of the fusion spell. Varying results were produced. Eventually, only Twilight remained. After a rather extensive battle between the two enemies, Discord was finally able to use the fusion spell on Twilight; however, Twilight Sparkle was able to caste the same spell on Discord and a computer she had been working on.

Patrolling the skies in search of Discord, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy had heard unbodied laughter. Searching frantically for its source, Fluttershy had noticed Rainbow's Element of Harmony shrink and disappear from her neck. She immediately told Rainbow Dash who suspected Discord to be behind it, and began searching the immediate area for the draconaquus.

Several hours later, Rainbow unexpectedly lost control and crash landed on a nearby cloud. Fluttershy had flown over to investigate, but couldn't find her anywhere. She reported the incident to Princess Celestia, who in turn gave orders to the LTF Foundation for a search and rescue. Foundation personnel eventually found an area in the Everfree Forest where the trees had fallen due to corrosion from a rainbow colored mucus. Rainbow Dash was later found attacking a foundation employee. Before back up could reach the employee, both he and Rainbow had disappeared. The next day, his body was found covered in blood. Weeks later, after several attempts at containing Rainbow Dash, Dr. Jack Bright had produced a theory on Rainbow's abilities. Field Crews were immediately successful at containing her.

After the Elements of Harmony had infused themselves within the Mane 6, Twilight was found unconscious at the bottom of a crater. After she had regained consciousness, she'd seemed to be the only one not to suffer any major side effects. Only a few weeks after her recuperation, Twilight had grown an obsession with machines. She'd built a teleportation device with intake and output chambers, and a coffee dispenser with so many drink options it required a keypad to replace all the hundreds of buttons that would've covered the machine.

By now her mental state was diminished to the point where she would focus on giving her machines sentience. She first succeeded in this when she magically fused Apple Jack with her dispenser. This had caused the LTF Foundation to seek her containment, and upon hearing this, Twilight hurriedly fused herself with her teleportation machine not knowing that her attempt with Applejack had failed. This did not give it sentience, but instead gave it the ability to up- and down-grade anything placed in its intake chamber.

Originally, Twilight had forced the machine to switch the modification setting to rough every time the activation key was wound. This could be a result of her anger at the Foundation for interrupting her work. Eventually, this had stopped occurring, allowing the Foundation to test what is now referred to as LTF-914.

Pinkie Pie was found roaming the area around Sugar Cube Corner which was littered with the lifeless of bodies of ponies. A LTF field crew had begun to approach Pinkie. When they were about fifteen meters away from pinkie, a sudden movement from a gray furred pegasus with a blonde mane and a cutie mark composed of seven bubbles. All field crew members began to run to the survivor's aid. When field crew captain [DATA EXPUNGED] had reached the pegasus, he turned around to give his crew an order only to find all of them dead, and Pinkie standing directly in front of him. Realizing the imminent danger, he grabbed the survivor and ran backwards being sure to keep Pinkie in his sight. Eventually, he found the train station. He boarded a train to the town nearest to the LTF foundation.

The captain had reported the incident. After Dr. Bright had heard of this, he provided a theory as to what Pinkie's abilities are, and how to contain her. Soon afterwards, field crew members had successfully contained Pinkie Pie.

After witnessing what had happened to Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy grew fearful of the potential dangers. So much so that she decided to stay in Canterlot after she reported the recent event to the princesses. Celestia allowed it.

On the date of [Redacted], a royal guard assigned to daily check on Fluttershy, had reported her to be missing. A foundation field crew was dispatched for another search and rescue. Fluttershy was found sitting on a cloud, floating above her cottage. The five pegasi present in the field crew, had flown up to the cloud to ask Fluttershy to come down for a talk. Approximately thirty seconds later, Fluttershy screamed, "You will love me!" Two pegasi retuned with Fluttershy not far behind.

All hell broke loose until a scout acting on instinct, had deployed an old battle tactic. This was to blind his apponent with a bag he carried on his pony. Once her head was covered; Fluttershy's screaming stopped, she say back down, and began crying. The bag was not removed from her head until she was placed in her containment chamber.
