I finished animating the model today and have already implemented several of your suggestions before you even posted! Keep your eyes out for version 1.0

I'd post a final screenshot to mark the end of this thread for the model, but I want it to be a surprise. :MTF:

Anyhow, expect some new behaviors and other things for the MTF, even this model I wouldn't say is 100% final. But it sure beats the hell out of the last one. I'm not positive if this will replace the Guard model too (as it looks awful as well), but that could be a whole other makeover by someone else some other time.

Do you still have to finish the texture for the model, or is that done too?

Also this is kinda random but I feel like the P90 looks a little off, texture-wise. It just feels sort of plastic and not real. Maybe add a little bit of weathering?

I think that the Guard model is actually fine, and works well with the new MTF model in the picture. The only thing I really think that could use fixing is some of the animations, the 173 death is glitchy as fuuuu

For the white spots on the MTF model, I did this thing where I just paint a big, black matte over it and call it good and then cross my fingers Regalis or the community will make it look better later on. As well as a nice ugly green matte for the gas mask lenses.

Yeah well for the P90 I just baked AO, lightmaps and then painted a simple 1 color diffuse map. I wouldn't think about weathering cause these guys have brand new weaponry and are handling an indoor environment. I dunno, I might just go back and add a few scratches or something for color variation. I think it's more important I get these features in the door so that they can be refined later (Isn't that the meaning of Alpha anyhow)?

and what are you talkign about?? 173 death animation is my ftreatest work hwo doare you insult me, i spent hours calculating realisti ragdoll hysics and exact BMI ratios to calculate how ones head could turn 180 degrees and fall backwards according to realistic nerve rea ctions in the brain!1!!!

Yeah but, the only real reason I'd go back and re-animate the guard model is for a whole new one.. I had some animations for it finished actually a long time ago for a zombie version of the Guard infected by SCP-045, but lost it on my windows laptop to my great sadness. HmmmmmmMMMMmmmmmm.. :049:
