Nah, I just read about the show on TVtropes, decided to watch through the first 9 episodes, saved pony images to my IPod to troll my friend, watched the rest of the episodes up to season 2 episode 24 a couple of months later. And ponies.

I never saw alot of fanfics, in fact, i only saw 2. One where Twilight gets into a depressive state since Spike 1 year dissapearance and... SFK showing me a erotic RD fanfic....

Do you guys want to know what the first fanfic I've ever read was? Twi and Me. Yup. I really didn't read fanfics after that. I went and read Cupcakes and Sweet Apple Massacre and all I could say was "Wow, this is some messed up [EXPLETIVE].". Oh well, let's just ignore my hideous opinion.

ADMIN EDIT: You need to actually select the image URL directly, seems this website does not like allowing images to be used in this manner.
MOD EDIT: Fixed the image to what I presume it was meant to be of
Sparks: It worked perfectly for me when I posted it.
Steelpoint: Sometimes the image will work for a moment. I think this has to do with you (The user) having already been on the page and that image being saved temporarily.
What fun is there in making sense?
Now, if you will excuse me i have some chaos to wreak.
