Re: [SUGGESTION] DVD player

I think this thread has derailed too far. The DVD player was a simple suggestion. And this is Collaboration, not Off topic.

With this said, I think the DVD player may be a nice idea (assuming Blitz3D can cope with animated textures/movies - and these movies might just be research-looking scenes from the actual game, when things go wrong). There was also the idea of putting slide-shows/televisions on some offices, which might be on, off or might be triggered by the player entering the room (for example motion-sensitive as a way to save electric energy), which would work a sort of jump scare.
SCP-079, SCP-294 & other models / SCP:CB Inventory Mod
I confirm you can win SCP:CB on Keter using only a keycard.

Yeah, cut out the derailing please, half of the posts here are a this statement.

I do like the ideas of monitors where you can click and watch certain sequences play out, perhaps a security room with a wall of viewable cameras stationed around the facility. You can go on the console and rewind to the last point of interest, which was the mass containment breach, and it'll change all the feeds to when the SCPs all broke out. It could certainly be interesting to say the least. And I do like the motion sensory idea, before the sudden footage and screeching sounds, there could be a small green light turning on from the wall to show that it's been activated somehow.

Also, interacting with a cordless clicker on the slide show could give some more interesting information, perhaps on 106's breach before the game and how security measures should be improved.
It slep time bunner.

Yeeeee, so you're telling me I can watch classified SCP footage? Best believe imma use that to my advantage! A good opportunity to implement further jump scares/clues as well.
