Castlevania III on the Famicon. The sound chip makes so much difference it's not even funny.
MOTHER 3. My personal favorite game ever.
ToeJam and Earl. Short list, but memorable and funky tunes.
Brutal Legend. Okay, this one's kinda cheating because I love metal, but it's a soundtrack nonetheless.
DBZ: Budokai 3. Ah, nostalgia.
Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. Just a fantastic collection of themes.

As much as a massive fan of Ratchet and Clank I am, I cant help but get more nostalgic at Insomniac's earlier Franchise, oh Spyro. Specifically Spyro 3 as I didn't have the other two until way later.

oH MY GOD, I REMEMBER WHEN TETRIS FIRST CAME OUT! I was like 1 years old, I got it when I was 4 and loved it until Fire Emblem came out. Metroid was excellent too, but I didn't fully enjoy it until Metroid echoes came out for gamecube. That one was one of the best in my opinion.
