Hey!

Hey everyone - Thought I'd just introduce myself as I've just signed up. I've been reading the forums for god knows how long, and I've played every containment breach (I think!), yet for some reason I never signed up here O_o...Probably due to my laziness.

So, yeah! I thought since I'm introducing myself, I might as well bring up something: Am I the only person who finds SCP-106 coming from the ceiling absolutely terrifying? That's the only thing I'm afraid of in Containment breach at the moment!

Don't see why this couldn't be posted here - It's the general discussion after all.

And I'm not really scared of SCP-106 himself, it's more the ceiling jump scare - For some reason, that always seems to make me afraid! Everything else is just fine though. Apart from accidentally provoking SCP-096 - that's no fun.

Thanks Glitch.

Yeah, I mean, before he was able to do that the only thing that rustled my jimmies was taking too long in the pocket dimension. For some reason I get scared when I fail time based tasks. ¦}

Same, I get over it by replacing the pocket dimension ambiance with a song I like (currently "Reptile theme" by Skrillex)
The reason the ceiling jumpscare scared me is because it was completely unexpected, as I never see Larry, not even in the Maintenance tunnels.
I'm not here as much right now, mention me on our Discord server if you need anything.

Not a bad idea. Right now I'd have to use Lost Woods Remix by Ephixa then. But I have a feeling that wouldn't make a blind bit of difference ¦}.
Also, you're incredibly lucky to have not encountered him in those locations - It's quite the opposite for me unfortunately, as I see him all over the show. And yeah, I tend to skip over change logs and such and read them after my initial play through so I can get a true reaction, so seeing that for the first time really scared me. (Although, I'm not sure if this change was even documented. Might go check.)

Edit: Just checked from Version 6, I saw the change of "A few new scripted events" - it probably falls under that.
