I also have this issue. Until they fix this you can try to downgrade to 0.9.1 which does not have the gas mask bug. I did try fixing this myself but it did not work with replacing the Items.dd file. Than again I did use v0.8.1 when I tried to do that... However it does look to be a bug with the navi...
