I think that would be awesome since you could add another level of panic to a crashing sub. However I don't think it could be added without changing the ways submarines work entirely.

I feel like the game should be a LOT darker. There is a small aura around your player that gives off a small amount of light, just enough that it makes flashlights pointless. The game should be pitch black without lights.
