Shaders are very hard and annoying to write and explain XD i suggest going on the unity docs to learn it, and A.I is actually very easy
They track Nodes i put in each piece and decide which route is closet to the player and then move to each closest node making them able to navigate properly (in the newer one) in the old one its just chase player.

there is also a tutorial in the Unity.docs
