I'm not sure and I really don't know why it worked for you before because I didn't changed anything in the 0.1.1 version since I uploaded it (for the 0.1.0 version too).

Outside of shooting class-Ds, all you can do in the mod with guns is spam bullet-hole decals on walls.
All you can do different from the vanilla game, i take it you mean.
