SCP-936-1 Is the amulet, what happens is that when it comes into contact with someone it wipes their memory and transfers Dr. Brights memory into the subject. If removed Dr. Bright goes back into the Amulet and the subject remains a husk. If after 30 days of continued contact between the amulet and the subject, then the subjects brain becomes a duplicate of Dr. Bright, meaning that if the amulet is then removed then the subject retains an indpendant copy of Dr. Brights memory. For all intents and purposes this creates a new sentient entity.
My best guess, plot wise, about the inclusion of SCP-936 is an attempt by Dr. Bright to escape this dimension by planting this amulet on one of his captors and then leaving his old subject (Who now has an independent version of Dr. Bright) to continue to masquerade as the real Dr. Bright. This means that the real Dr. Bright is in the body of a pony.
