2) Those Halo models can be converted, you have to get an .obj importer, which I think comes with Blender by default. I used 3DS Max, I have some minor experience with Custom Edition (Aerial combat map I never finished, I'm still showing it off here)

3) Have guns mounted on yokes for the guards. Just do it.

And keep the red eyes, they give a bit more horror and scary feeling than white eyes in the dark.

What should the gun look like? We could use an equestrian styled blunderbuss or Gatling gun, or we could stick an m16 on them.
