The reason I am even posting this in here is simple, it is a suggestion for this subforum, I was wondering if we could put a subforum into this subforum that separates retextures/reskins/sound changes into a single subforum keeping this modding forum a little cleaner.

Eh, too many subs would clutter the place up more. If we could reprganize them and update their purposes then we could have another. So yes, as long as we add more subs and divisions,

One thing, it wouldn't really clog the forums, infact here is an example of where the subforums would be: http://forum.zdoom.org/index.php so basically the subforum will be underneath modding.

Only a subforum for total conversion/large mods. I'd say source code edits, but like SCP-005 and the fixes, you only need to edit about 100-200 lines of code max. Maybe a 'Major' mods subforum?

That's stupid. There's only 2 total conversions/large mods in dev at the moment; no finished ones. Making a subforum for 2 mods is stupidly overkill.

I like the idea of getting a subforum for texture/sound replacements though, because it'd be like a recycling bin, except no one will recycle anything from it.

by Major, I meant worthwhile. Not just a few textures and sounds, but MOST if not ALL of the things are changed, and not just things slapped together, unless it's like
a WTF mod.

Well, it would help sort things out a bit, considering there's a lot of mods out there, but I don't think it'll help at the moment.

Reason being is that there's not really an equal balance between the conversion mods and the very minor sound/texture mods. There'd either be an extremely large sub-sub forum with the main subforum being relatively empty, or a whole sub-sub forum for just a couple of mods.

It's a good idea, maybe just give it time. Stickies are also irrelevant.

Yes, the mod community is still in development, you have to let mods get organized and start progressing. So far the only mod doing this is the MLP mod by a long-shot, and they still have a while to go.

Stickies are bad, if a thread is dead, it's dead. Unless it's those rule threads, no one likes those, so they are always dead. That is why they are stickied.
