Judging by its attack animation, it probably does eat them. At least what I've seen while under godmode* influence is that it will pounce the player, then crouch down and seemingly move a hand to its mouth a couple of times. Then the animation repeats, because you're supposed to be killed when it leaps.

SCP: CB isn't completely canon about 096, since it is never said in the file. Eating was just an assumption made to put a death scene in the game. For all we know, he could be shoving the victims up his ass, having the same result.

Also, am I the only one who imagines 096s arms flailing around in the air when going at full speed?

Considering that, what if The Shy Guy went past crush depth?
The Nightmares...will last...FOREVEEEEERRRRR!
In the event that Nightmare Tank tries to take charge, Dr. Glitch is to warn it, until it ceases its behaviour.

Bathysphere 303-A reaches final depth of 10,800 meters.
That is what the #096-1 Document said. I'd say that since his skeleton is SEEMINGLY indestructible the depth of the ocean wouldn't have much impact on him besides maybe popping his eyeballs like balloons.
There isn't much meat on his bones to be crushed in the first place.

Wtf? So, 096 is indestructible. Is he somekind of Nephilim or any strong shit than any of that? I can easily imagine myself hidden in Sun with a suit that protects. 096 gets burned until he's bacon and bones burnt, not destroyed.

I often remind myself of the fact that 096 stood up to 682 in a 27hour battle. We're talking about 682, the monster of all monsters for many.
But unlike 682, 096 doesn't make conscious decisions on what to do or whom to kill. Unless someone sees his face he'd be tame as a puppy.

As for what could destroy 096... it's a mystery. For all we know he could be as indestructible as 682 but without a brain.
But I like the bacon idea... *snicker*

Lol. Well, minblown, then.

Aside from 682, 106 or 173, I wonder if 096 can beat up the biggest fish ever: SCP-169. That thing is somewhat similiar to 682 but more even huge than anything else.

That would depend on whether or not 096's physical strength depends on his target or not. And if that thing can even count as "seeing" 096's face.
If the SCP has a conscious mind and actually registers its surroundings, maybe.

Chances are it would end up in a similar way as with 682, but the documents on 169 state that the creature is actually dormant. So it's likely that 096 wouldn't even register it and the other way around.
