Single player is nice, for people who don't have friends to play the game with. But, the AI system is pretty bad at the moment. I think the game should have a feature so you can tell the AI to automatically do what it thinks it should do. For example, in the place where you tell the AI to do things, there should be a button "Auto" or something and pressing that, would put the AI in a priority for everything. E.g. the first priority in case of a leak is fixing leaks, then second priority should be repairing systems etc. For the medic, first priority is always healing. For the captain, steering. For the security officer, protecting... etc. I think that would help with playing single player. Overall, what I am suggesting is a button for the AI's to act on their own.
