While I also would love a new update, you should't make him rush(If Regalis even reads this)
I think it's going to be a pretty long time until a new update is released.
There also is the distinct possibility of 1.2.3 being the final update of the game, ever to be made.

EDIT: I however think that there at least should be some news regarding SCP:CB as there hasn't been any word about it by Regalis since 1.2.3 was released.
Playing SCP : Containment Breach since v0.6.5.

My favorite SCP's: Pretty much all of them

I also have the same opinion about that. I'm hoping that SCP:CB 1.2.3 isn't the last update (besides it still has some bugs which need to be fixed, like crashes). It seems to be that SCP:CB might not be updated for a very long time (it might happen that I will release the 0.2.0 version of my mod before a SCP:CB update).

Realy, if you think about it, SCP:CB shouldn't ever stop receiving updates as new SCP's are written all the time. As to whether or not they'd work in the game is another story, but still.

Just because new SCPs are not being added doesn't mean the development of the game has stopped.

So far, only minor patches have been made, and they are actually useful outside of providing new content: Bug fixes.

Like most games, I'd be patient about another major update, if one is still planned. While yes, new SCPs are written all the time on the SCP Foundation, those require nothing but creative thought and writing skills. As well, many SCPs don't really fit into a game like this, so. I'm aware there's literally a few thousand now, but regardless. I'd love to see even more content myself of course, but I can wait and appreciate what we already have. :049:
