Of course it was intended, this is a horror game! The ultimate goal of the horror genre is to exhaust the entire world's supply of pants, and I fear 096 may be uncomfortably close to accomplishing that goal.

Exhausting the world's supply of pants is not intended, it's just a side effect to those that do not take necessary actions (such as going to the bathroom before playing, and no eating during the game)
096 is scary at first, but now I find it funny since it's so easy to avoid. I hope the new update makes it scarier in some way, with new animations and behaviors.

Supposedly he's going to be mobile now instead of remaining in one spot, by walking down hallways and such. This will, of course, make encounters and accidental deaths more frequent.

It's model still needs more texture. Modeled in some proportions and perhaps given more abilities as the game progresses.
