You sure? I don't remember seeing anything slap the helicopter.
If you no-clip into the area after they say 682 has breached the facility, you can see an incredibly big and long arm hit the helicopter.
Found a video on youtube with the scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3koT7bQNJRk
What fun is there in making sense?
Now, if you will excuse me i have some chaos to wreak.
Resident forum robot monkey, and chaos incarnate.

Yes, there 682 does indeed make a legitimate appearance when he decimates the helicopter, depends on where you are to see it best. If you're on the walkway, it's easier to see its claw hitting the helicopter, but the metallic grids over the walkway somewhat obscure the view. In the control room, you can see everything clearly, although the wall separating the Gate and the hillside makes it a bit hard to see.

With the fog though, it's quite hard to see it, it appears to just look dark and untextured when afar.
It slep time bunner.

Yeah you can catch a glimpse of 682's claw/tentacle hitting the apache at the end if you look closely (or just noclip).

Here, I can even confirm it from Regalis own word from the old forum's dev topic thread:

...And about the SCPs; there won't be any new ones in this update since none of the models are ready yet. SCP-[REDACTED] will have a much bigger role though (and you'll be able to catch a glimpse of it), and SCP-106 will be using the new pathfinding system.
Redacted = 682
