I've also been thinking of this engine change issue and I'm not sure what to do about it. While I won't start making a port by myself, I'd be glad to see SCPCB running on a better engine and wouldn't mind helping if someone manages to make a port that is close to the state where the game is now. I'm honestly a bit skeptical about the current ports; the C++ port still seems to be in its infancy, and the Unity one apparently hasn't really even been started yet. I don't know if I should stop developing the B3D version and try help with one of the ports. I haven't got enough experience in C++ or Unity to accomplish all the features currently in SCPCB, so I'd have to rely on the other programmers to get the project done, and we might end up with a good-looking game with just the bare bones of the features and content that the B3D version has (or just an unfinished tech demo if the people working on the project give up for some reason). On the other hand, it seems a bit pointless to work on the B3D version now when there are two other versions in development on a better engine.

I don't know, maybe I should just keep making the B3D version and wait to see how the ports make progress. I guess the new content in the B3D version can be ported to the new one if any of the ports are successful.

I didn't do much this weekend besides celebrating Juhannus and the end of the military service. :) Although I did add Night's new 096 model yesterday and fixed some bugs pointed out by MonocleBios. There's also a little addition in 079's room, a hard-as-fuck puzzle which reveals you some major details about the cause of the breach if you manage to solve it.
PUZZLES! On the note of puzzles I'm still confused to the generator room puzzle.

Yeah, if anything, the B3D version should at least reach beta before you decide on working on any of the other ports yourself.
