Done, I also added an anti-bot question to the registration form.

I told you all, they can and will get past capchas.
We need a moderator approval function before accounts are able to post on the forums, it's the only thing that probably will have a long-term effect as they can't activate their accounts with it.
What fun is there in making sense?
Now, if you will excuse me i have some chaos to wreak.
Resident forum robot monkey, and chaos incarnate.

We are not dealing with a massive outbreak of hundreds of Spam posts. At the most we get several spam posts every couple of days, which are more often than not quickly dealt with by the Moderators, Regalis or myself. Though I do think that these new measures should reduce the amount of spam posts

I just see that adding a Moderator approval before an account can be registered is adding in an unneeded amount of work and clutter. Also I have never ran into any forum that required me to be approved by a moderator before hand, even for small indie games or large studios. Matter of fact even the large forums like EA or Valve suffer from spam posts, but they are usually deleted very quickly after they are made, due to them having a dedicated, and large, moderator team. While we may not have that large of a mod team, and I see no reason to increase the mod team, we do a good job of keeping the spam under control, I can tell from the Admin logs.
