An Operative's guide to being a Class-D on the Forums.

#1
Hello ladies. Look down, now look up. Where are we? We are on the SCP: Containment Breach Forums where there are active Moderators enforcing everything. Blink, now unblink. This time we are in: Scenic Another hug0905 thread (AKA: a thread so useless, it's subject for immediate locking.) Spin around, now you are in this topic.

I'll tell you what newbies: I'll give you some useful advice to get along with the members of this forum. Get ready to re-read under my command if you don't follow.

1) The most effective move in an argument is to not do anything. I used to be like you, just letting all my rage out and losing respect. In fact, don't even start an argument at all, even if you have a logical reason.

2) Start threads on topics that capture others' opinions. A thread about your operating system does not meet these standards. (Yes, hug. I'm talking to you.)

3) Don't start your own threads until you have made 3 posts. The only exceptions are any "teasers" that you want to do, but that will require a Moderator's permission.

4) If you intend to start a modification and need a team to do so, come up with a name for the mod that will capture their attention. (Attention hug: "the last... deadly day of school" is an example of a failure in those standards.)

5) For the last fucking time. DO. NOT. REVIVE. DEAD. THREADS.

6) If you are an non-brony, don't tell everyone to "get ouf teh intranut", that will just get you banned for pointless hating.

7) If you joined the forums with no knowledge of The SCP Foundation just because you saw PewDiePie play this, who the fuck are you?

8.) Pointless rage will get ignored.

9) If you ask for the ability to pick up firearms in-game, get out. We don't want to hear any excuses.

10) Emotes serve as a shorter way of showing your feelings. Putting up :173: :173: :173: :173: all willy nilly is a example of failure to meet these standards.

There will be more added to this list soon! If any of you new people disrespect any of my tips, you will have to re-read all of them.

An addition to #5: Check the date the most recent posts were made. I didn't do that, and I ended up reviving a few threads. The date is below the title of the post (i.e. "Re: An Operative's guide to being a Class-D on the Forums." Check below that in my post, and you'll see when I posted this and you don't go reviving this thread a month later).

Contradiction.

Don't shove it down our throats. Avatars, threads, signatures MLP-related are fine, but when someone's signature is "I WANT TO [REDACTED] INSIDE RAINBOW DASH!", perhaps a line should be drawn?
CLgaming wrote:3) Don't start your own threads until you have made 3 posts. The only exceptions are any "teasers" that you want to do, but that will require a Moderator's permission.
You can't start a thread until you've made 3 posts, so why tell people not to if they can't?

The two above quotes are excellent examples of complete bias. I for one would like a thread where people discuss optimal operating systems. As for the mod name, both my mods are called "SCP-005" and "SCP-008" and they were the most popular non-brony mods. No need to "demand" people to come up with a good name.

Lastly, you're not a moderator, so this so-called "guide" is like the bully of the playground trying to tell everyone- even teachers- how to act.

CL, be glad Im too tired to react at the moment, because I see some needless and uncalled for bashing at another forum member.

Dont do that as you are breaking the rules while doing so.

I agree with you at some points Innocentsam, like Im a brony but I dont show it everywhere possible, except for the qouted lines in my signature and my current location.
What fun is there in making sense?
Now, if you will excuse me i have some chaos to wreak.

really, when i started the the last... deadly day of school part 2 thread, yes, i tried to capture attention after the first part of the last... deadly day of school, however, since no one replied to the thread (i'm talking about the mod on the modding section, not the 087-b section), i ended up deleting the thread and cancelling the mod (for now).

By now Hug should know better. Even for a kid. If he wants to get traumatized/bashed by acting rashly it's his problem.
I used to think that we should go easy on him, but I changed my mind. Let 096 eat him.

Also, why are you posting your own rules? Is that supposed to be a guide on how to handle you?
Hell, I should make one of these and call it "An Operative's guide to Women" but then put "only works on beings called Serimah" in small letters underneath.
It's not that hard to be civil towards others. I don't see why we'd need to patronize others. If someone acts too much out of line, they'll get what's coming.

Other than that... I HAVE BEEN CRAVING BACON FOR WEEKS NOW! HELP!
